The ordinances on this page are the Revised General Ordinances of the Borough of Wharton.  The latest official codification of these ordinances was completed in 1983.  Since that time, the Governing Bodies have made amendments and additions.  I, Susan Best, Borough Clerk for the Borough of Wharton, have incorporated the amendments and the additions to the official codified set dated 1983.

While compiling this information, it was discovered that two chapters, with two different topics, were assigned as Chapter XVIII (18).  The first one is entitled "Uniform Fire Code" and the second one is entitled "Flood Fringe Area Ordinances".  I kept them both as Chapter 18 until the Borough Attorney advises otherwise.
