EMERGENCY - WHAT TO DO WHEN CALLING 9-1-1
It is very important that all children be made familiar with what to do in the event of an emergency and that help is available by dialing 9-1-1.
 
WHEN CALLING 9-1-1 REMAIN CALM AND SPEAK CLEARLY.
Provide the 9-1-1 telecommunicator with the following information: Exactly what the problem is - the phone number you are calling from - your address and name.
 
STAY ON THE TELEPHONE. ANSWER THE TELECOMMUNICATOR'S QUESTIONS AND FOLLOW ANY INSTRUCTIONS YOU MAY BE GIVEN.
The 9-1-1 system is designed to display your House Number, Street Name, and Municipality you actually live in. If you do not know your house number, Please contact Borough Hall.
