Important Election Dates

for the 2012 Primary

• April 11, 2012- Party Affiliation Declaration Form to be Filed- On or before this date, a voter desiring to change his or her party affiliation must file a Political Party Affiliation Declaration form in order to vote in the Primary Election.
• May 15, 2012- Voter Registration Deadline- Last Day to register to vote for the Primary Election. The Superintendent of Elections Office will be open until 9:00 p.m.
• June 5, 2012- Primary Election Day- Polls are open 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Would you like to know Where in the World is Wharton?  Come join the Wharton Public Library to find out. We will be hosting 6 trips around our town to learn about it's historical past and where it's headed in the future.  Each trip will be to a different spot with a guest speaker.  We will also feature a snack from a Wharton restaurant for everyone to sample.

Pothole & Highway Maintenance Reporting

The State of New Jersey Department of Transportation has created an online reporting system for problems with our state highways or off ramps.  

Yard Waste Pickup Reminders

Now that everyone is out doing their spring cleaning we are seeing a lot of yard waste appear at the curb. 

• All Brush must be cut to 4 foot lengths and tied.  We are unable to accept tree stumps.
