Due to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, the September 28th Mayor and Council Meeting will be held online through Zoom. 

Members of the public who wish to participate in the meeting may do so by joining online or over the phone at 7:00 P.M. Individuals will be able to fully participate in the meeting, including providing public comment.

The Mayor and Council and the Library Board of Trustees will be holding a joint public meeting during this meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to hold a Strategic Planning Session to gain input from residents about the services provided by the Library and to identify additional opportunities in which the Library can better serve the community. Please join us for this discussion. If you are unable to attend the meeting please feel free to send us your ideas, comments and suggestions to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or write us a letter and send it to town hall.  We will be able to read your ideas into the record.  After the meeting we plan on sending out an online survey based on the feedback we receive.

Participating during the public portion of the meeting 

During public comment parts of the meeting, if you would like to speak, please click the "Raise Hand" button, and we will be notified of your request to talk. Mayor Chegwidden will recognize you, and your microphone will me un-muted to allow you to speak. Once you have completed speaking your mic will be re-muted. 

On computers, the "Raise Hand" button can be found in the Webinar Controls section, typically at the bottom of your screen. If you raise your hand on accident, feel free to "Lower Hand."
