Recreation Facilities

Hugh Force Park: offers picnic area, playground equipment and fishing - located on West Central Avenue, surrounding the Public Works building.

Robert Street Park: also known as Concialdi Park offers softball, baseball, football fields, playground equipment, picnic area and two tennis courts. Permits and information are available at Borough Hall - located on Robert Street and West Sterling Street.

Huff Street Park: offers playground equipment - located at the end of Huff Street, which is a dead-end street.

Columbia Street Park: offers basketball courts, rollerblade and playground equipment - located between Columbia Street and East Sterling Street.

Langdon Avenue Park: offers basketball court and playground equipment - located at the top of Langdon Avenue.

Wilfred Hocking Park: offers two soccer fields - located on Lafayette Street - permits to use fields are available at Borough Hall.

Memorial Park: located on South Main Street, this is a passive park with recently installed engraved pavers. There are monuments honoring all the veterans of our Country with a newly erected Civil War Monument. Stop by and have a moment of quiet as you stroll throughout this historical site.

Schiffner Park: located at 151 North Main Street next to the Pond.
The Borough also offers a summer recreation program for children of grammar school age. It is held at the Robert Street Park normally beginning the first full week in July and ending the second week of August, and is from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The program offers arts, crafts, sports and other fun filled activities. Registration is required. Please check Borough Hall for dates and further information.
