Mayor

Although the weather isn’t always agreeable, spring is on its way and with it comes a lot of fun and exciting activities around the Borough. March brings the Fire Department’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. In April, baseball and soccer have their opening day ceremonies planned. May brings the annual Memorial Day Parade.

Spring cleaning brings with it the return of yard waste pick up starting in April on every Monday, except for holidays. For more information about yard waste pick up click here.

We are also hard at work planning our summer in Wharton. Plans for the summer recreation program are underway, registration for attendees will begin on 4/1 and run through 6/13. No registrations will be accepted after 6/13 and no walk-in's will be accepted. Plans for Canal Day, Summer Concert Series, and other fun events are underway as well. Check back here, on our social media accounts, or in the Mayor’s newsletter for information about summer events as the summer gets closer.
